Biosphere Holidays (BSH) – Terms and Conditions applicable for all India and International Tours, Tailor-Made Holidays and Corporate Tours.

Definitions & Tour Commencement +

Guest: Any person who has booked and paid for the tour organized by Biosphere Holidays.

Company: Biosphere Holidays including all its brands and divisions.

Tour: Any India or International tour organized by Biosphere Holidays.

Tour Day: A day may consist of part of a day or full 24 hours depending upon arrival or departure schedules.

Tour Escort / Leader / Manager: A person designated by the company to assist guests during the tour.

Extra Mattress: Roll-away mattress provided on the floor (Domestic tours) or extra bed (International tours).

Jain Food: Food served without onion and garlic during group meals.

Force Majeure +

Force majeure includes events beyond the control of Biosphere Holidays including but not limited to:

  • War, invasion or civil disturbances
  • Natural disasters such as earthquake, flood or fire
  • Epidemics or pandemics
  • Government orders or legal changes
  • Strikes or industrial disturbances
  • Severe weather conditions including storms or hurricanes

The company shall not be responsible for any delays, cancellations or itinerary changes due to such circumstances.

Booking Criteria +

Payment of registration amount confirms that the guest:

  • Has read and accepted all Terms & Conditions.
  • Is interested in participating in the tour.
  • Authorizes the person making the booking on behalf of family members.
Health & Fitness +

Guests booking the tour confirm that they are medically fit to travel. Any medical treatment, hospitalization or stay-back during the tour shall be borne by the guest.

Tour Payments +
  • Registration amount is non-refundable.
  • Full payment must be completed before departure.
  • Bookings within 30 days require full payment immediately.
  • Payments may be made online, by cheque, or demand draft in favour of Biosphere Holidays.
  • Cheque dishonour charges of ₹250 will apply.
Visa & Passport Requirements +
  • Passport must be valid for at least 180 days after return.
  • Passport must contain sufficient blank pages for visa stamps.
  • Handwritten passports are not accepted.
  • Visa approval is solely at the discretion of the embassy or consulate.
  • The company acts only as a visa facilitator.
Travel Insurance +

Insurance is included for international tours up to the age of 59 years. Claims are processed by the insurance provider and Biosphere Holidays has no control over approval or rejection.

Itinerary Changes +
  • Company reserves the right to modify itinerary due to unavoidable circumstances.
  • Changes may occur due to weather, strikes, or operational reasons.
  • Refunds will be limited only to the cancelled sightseeing component if applicable.
Baggage Responsibility +

Guests are responsible for their own baggage during flights, transfers, trains or coach travel.

Hotels & Room Sharing +
  • Single occupancy rooms are smaller and subject to extra charges.
  • Check-in and check-out times depend on hotel policies.
  • Sharing rooms may be provided based on availability.
  • Any damage to hotel property must be paid by the guest.
Guest Responsibilities +
  • Carry valid travel documents including passport, visa and insurance.
  • Arrive at tour meeting points on time.
  • Maintain discipline and group travel etiquette.
  • Respect local laws and customs of destination countries.
Liability Disclaimer +

Biosphere Holidays is not responsible for delays, cancellations, losses or injuries caused by independent service providers including airlines, hotels, transport companies or government authorities.

Jurisdiction +

All disputes related to tours and bookings shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Pune, India.
