Pedal and Paddle Adventure
Begin slowly on quiet country roads that pass through paddy fields, orchards with backdrops of stunning mountains and into the Sri Lanna National Park. We are privileged to be allowed to ride across the dam of the sixth largest park in Thailand. Sri Lanna is comprised of valleys and mountains, and an endless number of streams that feed the Mae Ngad reservoir. The park is fringed with forests and the mirrored surface of the water reflects the peacefulness. The next phase of the adventure is paddling kayaks along the jungle edge of the lake, looking for monkeys, and perhaps sighting a colourful kingfisher bird. Take lunch at a floating restaurant. The rest of the afternoon is free to explore isolated nooks of this 430 m deep lake, or to swim in the stream-fed waters before paddling back to our put out point at the end of an active yet relaxing day.
