Tokyo

Welcome to Japan and you will be assisted at the airport. Transfer to your hotel in the Tokyo area will be on your own. Overnight in Tokyo.

Tokyo – Mt. Fuji- Lake Ashi – Tokyo (Coach + Bullet Train)

Breakfast at hotel. From the departure point the tour starts with a drive through the scenic countryside to Mount Fuji, Enjoy the scenery of rural Japan during the drive to the Mount Fuji. You will have a panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean and grand mountains from an altitude of 8000 feet. Lunch On Own. Then you will take the double-wired sky gondola for a breath-taking view of the volcanic Hakone Mountains, arriving at Owakudani Valley (the Valley of Hell). Admire the view of steam escaping from the rugged mountains of Owakudani. You will also have the chance to try an Onsen Tamago. Next, you will have a boat ride on the peaceful Lake Ashi. You can sit back and relax in the midst of the picturesque and serene natural beauty of the Crater Lake. We then return to Tokyo by bullet train. The tour disbands at Tokyo station. Overnight at the Hotel in Tokyo.

Tokyo – City Tour

After late breakfast proceed to half day Tokyo Tour. Tour begins mid morning with visiting Hamarikyu garden, which is a typical Daimyo (Japanese feudal lord) garden in the Edo period with a tidal pond. After this you will enjoy a thirty minute boat ride to Asakusa on the Sumida River whilst admiring the harmonious blend of old and new Tokyo. After the cruise, you have a chance to see Ninja and Samurai performances at the pier. Then you will see the famous Asakusa Kannon Temple, one of the main cultural landmarks of Tokyo. We will then take you to the Nakamise Shopping Street, where you can walk down the brightly lit street leading to Japan's finest Buddhist temple. Then we will drive through Kappabashi area, where restaurant supplies and wax food samples are sold. Finally, we drive through the well-known shopping districts of Ueno and Akihabara, where the tour ends. The rest of the day is free at leisure. Overnight in Tokyo

Tokyo – Osaka

Time to proceed to your next destination by the Shinkasen. Arrive in Osaka. Rest of the day is free.Later in the afternoon you have the free time to take a whirl on the Giant Ferris Wheel (Tempozan Ferris Wheel). Said to be the largest Ferris wheel in the world till 1999, the 112m-high wheel offers unbeatable views of Osaka, Osaka Bay and K?be. Shopping at Shinsaibashi - A unique and vibrant shopping experience area is also in store for the shopaholics. Or you could attend a Samurai/Ninja Special Experience: Samurai action show (10 min.) + Samurai experience (50 min.) + Ninja experience (20 min.): Everyone to play Shuriken throwing.  Overnight in Osaka.

Osaka – Bay area Tour

Today after breakfast you are taken for a tour of Osaka departing at 12.30pm which gives you a glimpse to visit popular spots in the Osaka Bay Area such as Aquarium Kaiyukan , one of the world's biggest and best aquariums. You will walk together with guide to Nishi Umeda Station and take train to Osakako Station, walk and visit the famous Aquarium Kaiyukan and Tempozan Market Place .Then take boat Santa Maria to West Wharf of Kaiyukan. And walk to Osakako Station and take train to Osaka Station, and end the tour. This tour includes Guide Service, Tickets for Aquarium Kaiyukan, Boat cruise on Santa Maria, and Train tickets during the tour plying on Mon/Wed/Fri. Overnight in Osaka.

Osaka – Universal Studios / Hiroshima / Kyoto (Optional Day)

Wake up to a lazy breakfast and today you have a great options:

Universal Studios Japan is Osaka’s answer to Tokyo Disneyland. Although it wasn’t open while we were researching this guide, word has it that the park is a faithful reproduction of the American park, complete with all manner of movie-themed rides, stores and shops. But we need to keep in mind that all the signages and announcements are only in Japanese. Full day is a must as there are nine areas in the park which has to be explored… like New York, Hollywood, San Francisco, Jurassic Park Snoopy Studios, Lagoon, Water world, Amity Village, Land of Oz, and so on.. Return back in the evening to the hotel.

One day excursion tour to Hiroshima by Shinkansen bullet train with visits world heritage sites including Itsukushima shrine in Miyajima island, the Atomic bomb dome and the Peace Memorial Museum in central Hiroshima.

One day excursion tour to Kyoto: After you transfer from Osaka station to Kyoto station by JR local express train (non-reserved seat), this tour starts with a visit to Nijo Castle, once used as the Tokugawa Shogun's family palace. Then you will visit Kinkakuji Temple, one of the sacred sites of Japan. Afterwards, it's on to Kyoto Imperial Palace, former residence of the Imperial Family. After lunch, you will visit the vermilion-hued Heian Jingu Shrine, a magnificent structure strongly influenced by the Chinese architecture. Then on to the Sanjusangendo Temple with its 1,001 impressive images of Buddha. Then you will visit to the Kiyomizu Temple, famous for its wooden veranda. You will return to Osaka on board a JR local express train (non-reserved seat). The tour ends at Osaka station.Overnight in Osaka.

Depart Osaka

You have time free till you proceed to the airport on your own for your flight back home.
